The animations are just too choppy to enjoy the game. The original snes title has better graphics and runs smoother than this garbage! The game is a great game , but this particular version is just unplayable!

Maybe this game was designed for an early Atari system-I dont know (no offense, Atari fans), but the graphics are terrible in this game. And who designs a game with kill-or-be-killed-by rabbits? Im sorry I wasted my time and money on this sorry excuse for a game.

This is a very nice game and was my all-time favorite game growing up as a kid. To have it on my cell phone now really makes me happy! Everything is great. Heres the but part, I dont know why whenever you kill a boss and and everything goes white and heros pumping there fists, I get turned off when the sound effect of killing the boss gets cut off. I want to hear the whole thing.. Sorry, it was one of my favorite sound effects after killing a boss.

This was one of my favorite games growing up, and I got it primarily fir the music. But the sound didnt work at all, even the first time launching it.

This game is awesome! Many of the complaints you see in the reviews have been fixed: the controls improved, graphics sharpened, and the music bug fixed. Get this game! Its great and still fun as ever to play!

This is one of my favorite games of all time. Great childhood memories playing it. But Im very annoyed since the music on the game doesnt work. Havent had a single sound since I started it the first time. That kind of ruins the nostalgia I wanted! Fix it!!!!

The game itself is incredible. Sadly, the app is completely broken. It crashes immediately on my 6S with iOS9. Dont buy this.

Just bought, because its one of my favorite games of all time, and it instantly crashes upon opening. Reviews say it doesnt work with iOS 9.

Was a 5 star, and will be again when it is compatible with the latest iOS software. Do not buy this if you have iOS 9! Wait until they fix

I love this game. Grew up playing it, and its awesome to still be able to play it - especially whenever and wherever. However, in its current state with iOS 9, it is entirely unplayable. It crashes immediately upon launch. To me, this is unacceptable considering this is a paid app. If it were free, it wouldnt be as big a problem. However, I am basically locked out of the content I paid for. Please fix this so we, as a community can give one of our favorite games of all time the reviews it truly deserves.

The game deserves 5/5 stars, but it will no longer open in iOS9. So 1/5 for now. When this gets fixed Im hoping they budget for including iCloud save states to make it more up to date and modern of a experience. These changes and updates will easily earn 5/5 stars when included in its update. Get to it Devs! I want to play this awesome game!

DO NOT buy this game. Post ios9, the game is unplayable because it will not load. Pre-update, it was a solid 4 stars. Easily 5 if it was not for the occasional crashes. Issues aside, if you enjoyed this game years ago you will enjoy it still, but do yourself and stay away from it right now.

Just downloaded it on my 6s. Wont even open. Not what I expect from Apple or Enix. Sort of a joke actually.

Game does not work. I want my money back

Using an IPhone 6s Plus with IOS 9. Game opens then immediately closes and will not run. The game needs to be updated asap!

The game is good, but dont buy it. Ive had it for years and play it over fairly often. Ever since the ios9 update (and subsequent "fixes"), this game does not boot up. It is well known at this point, yet Square wont update the app to fix it. They should take it off the store and at least address the problem. Save your money and emulate it- dont give such a careless company your bucks.
